Yiddish 201 - We have advanced slightly beyond basics and continue to learn Yiddush for understanding and conversation. (Monthly)
Speakers and Other Visitors - We welcome many guests to our group to educate and inform us on many topics, including health and fitness, religion, travel, culture, and many other areas of interest. The JEC Choir performs several times a year.
Lunch & Learn - The Y is very excited to partner with the JEC Elmora Ave Shul to bring Lunch & Learn back to the community. Each month, a community Rabbi will join us during lunch with a timely topic of Jewish interest.
Oneg Shabbat - D’var Torah on weekly Parsha, candle lighting, Kiddush, Hamotzi and traditional songs before lunch welcoming the Sabbath with grace, warmth and friendship. (Fridays)
Trips - Various throughout the year to casinos, cruises, shopping excursions, museums, shows and other places of interest.
